Well, I have made it to 27 weeks. I have had quite a growth spurt in the past few weeks. Even bri seemed a bit surprised that I had grown in the week he was gone. I didnt add any weight since my last appt, but the baby has gotten bigger I am sure.
Very exciting developments with the nursery. Mom and Dad came over Friday & Saturday and painted the nursery for us. It looks great. And now I am excited to start transferring some of the designs to the walls and get started on the designs that will decorate the room. I have the fabric for the drapes that I need to make, but I still need to find a rug. Not sure what I am going to do for that yet.
Sleeping has become a new venture. Poor Bri, I think I am keeping him up with all my tossing and turning. I am having some hip pain from sleeping on my side or from my hips expanding, I am not sure. This leads to leg cramps and lower back pain. Add to this some braxton-hicks contractions that happen during the night and you get a very long night. I can go to sleep just fine. But that 3am to 7 am time period is a roller coaster. I thought this would happen later in the pregnancy, but I guess I get to deal with it now. I just need to find that right combination of pillows!
We are entering a busy time. I am busy every weekend until the end of April. I am excited about a wedding shower for Katie next week and then Easter, and then our birthing class at the end of March. That should be interesting.
I have a feeling the next three months are going to fly by.
