37 Weeks - Full Term

I am safely at full term, but I think baby girl has decided to stay in for a while. 37 weeks started with promise. I was up 1/2 of Monday night with contractions, but at a regular Dr. appt on tue, no progress. A little disappointing since I was absolutely exhausted and ready for it to be over. But after a good night sleep last night, I am feeling more willing to hang in there a few more weeks.

In discussing the different possibilities, my Dr. mentioned that she could induce at 38 1/2 or 39 weeks if I wanted, but I am not sure how I feel about that. I might feel differently in a couple of weeks, but for now I would like to avoid petocin if possible. The Dr. has not given me any indication of when she thinks the baby might come. I guess since I am not showing any progress yet, she doesnt feel like it will be soon.

It was good practice to load in the baby seat and I have the bags mostly packed. So we are ready when she is I guess.

For now, I am trying to take it more easy and rest as much as possible.
